Marti Malloy - Judo Throws

When we think of Judo, we might immediately think of someone flying head over heels, or getting slammed to the mat.  Although Judo has a full catalog of grappling techniques referred to as “Katame-Waza”, it’s the throwing game, “Nage-Waza”, that jiu-jitsu grapplers will find most useful. • Sode Tsuri Komi Goshi - Marti Malloy

This technique is a sleeve hip throw, and I do mean “throw!” It is one of Marti’s favorites. The success rate of this technique increases thanks to her opponent’s natural reaction to pull their arm across after Marti breaks their grip.
